Why does everybody hate Peach?

Me and my younger sister, Erica, have both noticed that tons of people seem to hate Peach for so many little reasons and most of them aren't even true. The following reasons I've heard are listed below:

Peach is ugly. Peach is an idiot. Peach is fat. Peach is a slut. Peach's kidnapping is her own fault.

And let's not forget the whole "Peach is a Mary-Sue" crap. Now how about I start explaining this stuff.

PEACH IS UGLY

How is she ugly? I just think she looks like the average adorable princess from a popular video game series. This is usually the reason why people think she ugly. You've got to remember that the main target audience for the Super Mario Bros are the little kids. Do you really think any little kid would even bother to care about the graphics? The only time this question would be answered with a yes is if the graphics are hard to see. Well actually, there's that and also because of the way her dress is designed. The puffy sleeves and the ballgown skirt make her look like an 80's character. But consider this. If you compare her outfit to the an outfit that's somewhat similar to the average 80's princess cartoon character's dress, doesn't Peach's dress look quite a bit more casual compared to that? Also, if you think about it, each and every girl, video game or not, has there own original beauty. So now answer my question again but this time with something reasonable. How is Peach ugly?

PEACH IS AN IDIOT

How so? I've paid attention to Peach's behavior in some of the Mario games and here's the thing. It's not that Nintendo is trying to make her an idiot but it's that they're trying to make her a ditz. There's a very noticable difference between an idiot and a ditz. If you can't see any difference between the two traits, you either don't pay enough attention to people's behavior or you don't know what a ditz is. Let me give you an example. I'm friends with a girl in my choir class named Emily Bzregowy (pronounced ber-gow-ee). Not only is she as clumsy as Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket, but she's also a straight-A student. This is the kind of attitude Nintendo was trying to give to Peach.

PEACH IS FAT

How is she fat? This was a reason I heard from a bunch of Peach-haters who gave me an impression that they're complete idiots. For one thing, if you want to tell the difference between fat and skinny, you have to look at the waist. Like I said two paragraphs ago: Peach's dress has a ballgown skirt! That means that her skirt is supposed to have the cupcake shape. It does not mean that she's fat at all. She might even be underweight!

PEACH IS A SLUT

Now this one is something I don't understand at all. She doesn't at all look or act like a slut. If she did, game sales would go in the toilet. If you want to see a video game princess who looks like a slut,take a look at Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Zelda was just fine in all the other Zelda titles but for me and Erica, she looked like a 35-year-old woman who was trying to be sexy (and failing miserably). And for the record, Peach IS NOT Bowser Jr's mom. Don't believe me? Go buy Super Mario Sunshine and beat the game. It'll tell you the truth.

PEACH'S KIDNAPPING IS HER OWN FAULT

...Wow. Just wow. I can't believe some of you Peach-haters would sink low enough to even think there's any slim possibility of any kidnapping to be at the fault of the damsel in distress. Can't any of you see that it's always the kidnapper's fault. And since Bowser's always the one who's taking Peach hostage, it's obviously Bowser's fault. Don't give me any "she can defend herself" crap either. The only reason why she was able to kick butt in Super Princess Peach was because she had a magical, talking parasol. Do you think she has enough time to get the parasol for her own self-defense? She probably doesn't even have enough time to take any self-defense classes considering the fact that Bowser's always kidnapping her. The reason why Bowser's always kidnapping her is because... Stay with me here, people... He doesn't know when to quit.

PEACH IS A MARY-SUE

The prototypical Mary Sue is an original female character in a fanfic who obviously serves as an idealized version of the author mainly for the purpose of Wish Fulfillment. She's exotically beautiful, often having an unusual hair or eye color, and has a similarly cool and exotic name. She's exceptionally talented in an implausibly wide variety of areas, and may possess skills that are rare or nonexistent in the canon setting. She also lacks any realistic, or at least story-relevant, character flaws — either that or her "flaws" are obviously meant to be endearing.

"In other words, the term "Mary Sue" is generally slapped on a character who is important in the story, possesses unusual physical traits, and has an irrelevantly over-skilled or over-idealized nature."

Peach has blue eyes which is the second most common eye color in the world. She also has blonde hair (although blonde hair only appears in 11% of people,think about how many people live on the planet for a second). Her name is sort of rare but it wouldn't fall anywhere near exotic or cool. The correct adjective for her name would be cute. She doesn't seem to posess any unusual skills. In fact, the one who would have the unusual skills is Mario. And one more thing: Peach is not an OC from a fanfic!


Now here's the thing. I'm not trying to change anybody's opinions about Peach, I'm just trying to say that some of the reasons for hating Peach seem very idiotic and pointless to me. Once you find a good, clear, obvious reason for hating Peach, then I will shut up. As of now, I'm entitled to my opinion.
